  • Description

This game is suitable for people in various stages of dementia.

Key features

Animal Snap is a set of 48 cards that can be grouped into different families. These can be used in a series of association games designed around cognitive stimulation therapy for people with dementia.

Each card is designed with high colour contrast and uses simple illustrations to ensure people with dementia use the cards unassisted. The three different difficulty levels ensure there is a game suitable for people in early or later stages for dementia.

How it works

There are three games of different difficulties in each pack: Snap Pair and Full House. The objective of each game is to match the cards into families.

What people say

Our products are tested and reviewed by people living with dementia and their carers to make sure they are fit for purpose. We use the feedback to decide which products to stock and to help with the information and advice we give.

We took our Animal Snap along to the Norwich Dementia Voice group to tell us what they thought of it. One of the members, Margaret, said it reminded her of a mahjong game she plays on her computer. You can read the full article in our Dementia Together magazine.

We encourage customers to review our products so if you decide to make a purchase we would be very pleased if you could add a review.
