The Throw and Tell Activity Ball is a simple way to learn practical information about an individual in a fun, informative, non-confrontational way that anyone can enjoy and also helps with hand-eye co-ordination.
Each panel on the ball features a different preference or experience that anyone can talk about.
The questions are carefully chosen to focus on things that we all have memories of and can talk about. They work like a key to unlock memories that lead to more detailed discussions that involve sharing great memories and enjoyable experiences.
It's a simple way to break the ice in one-to-ones or group activities. It is full of questions about likes/dislikes and everyday experiences that everyone has answers for.
When a person catches the ball their thumbs will be on two different panels of the ball. They simply choose one of the panels and talk about it.

Our products are tested and reviewed by people living with dementia and their carers to make sure they are fit for purpose. We use the feedback to decide which products to stock and to help with the information and advice we give.
The feedback also forms the basis of a regular consumer panel article in our Dementia together magazine which may help you to decide if the product is suitable for you.
We encourage customers to review our products so if you decide to make a purchase we would be very pleased if you could add a review.
To help you decide if this is the right product for you please read our advice on choosing the right products to help people living with dementia.
